Aangezien ik uit een dorp kom waar iedereen ‘boer’ is (mijn vader was vroeger wegenbouwer, oftewel ‘zandboer’), ben ik dus de merchboer.

I’m Richard, owner of Merchandise.nl and a whole lot of other sites. This is my personal digital businesscard.

Since I’m from a village where every profession gets ‘boer’ (Dutch for farmer) added to it (my dad was a roadworker, they called him the ‘zandboer’ (sandfarmer)), I’m nicknamed the Merchboer.

Ik heb samen met mijn vrouw Sharon een bedrijf in merchandise, relatiegeschenken en promotiemiddelen. Ik houd me binnen ons bedrijf vooral bezig met marketing, social media, productontwikkeling en key customers. Ook zorg ik dat al mijn collega’s aan de slag kunnen blijven en voldoende werk hebben.

Daarnaast ben ik een trotse vader van 3, Cynthia, Sara en Jack.

I own a company in merchandise, promotional items and business gifts, together with my wife Sharon. In our company, I make sure all my colleagues stay busy, and am mainly working on marketing, social media, product development and our key customers.
